Two discourses of St Jerome on the Gospel of Mark (foreword and translation)

The publication provides brief information about the works discovered at the end of the 19th century and therefore not included in the pre-revolutionary Russian edition of St Jerome’s works, which include the Discourses on the Gospel of Mark. The reader is offered a translation of two small homilies from this cycle, which sufficiently demonstrate the nature of the conversations and the exegetical method of the author.
