There is given the analysis of heuristic procedures in methodology and didactic meanings. Heuristic method possesses double function that realizes it as a search method and a constant property of knowledge possessing process. Firstly this double meaning transforms this method to meta methodological category. Secondly it changes dramatically the boundaries of its practical use.
