The article outlines the meaning of the subjective interaction of the Philosophy and the Theology in the Western-European medieval thought. The current stand was presented in the works of Tomas Aquinas and became dominating for some centuries, and definitely influenced self-consciousness of European philosophy as a whole. Main terms of reference, logical bases and results of the Western-European strategy of the demarcation of two disciplines are demonstrated in the article.
