E. N. Trubetskoy and Russian conservatives: on the history of relations

The article deals with various aspects related to the relationship between the famous liberal philosopher Prince E. N. Trubetskoy and right-wing conservative thinkers. These relationships were very complex and contradictory. On some issues (the condemnation of revolutionary terror, economic views), the positions of the monarchists and Trubetskoy generally coincided, but on others (the question of the state structure of the country, the national question) they were diametrically opposite, which is primarily due to the different ideological and political views of the right and liberals. There is criticism of Trubetskoy and his political views on the pages of right-wing conservative publications.
