The article highlights the history of the building Catherine Seven-Altar Cathedral in Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar) designed by architect Ivan K. Malgerb. Architectural and artistic features of the temple in keeping with the history of the Byzantine style in Russia are analyzed.
