The article is devoted to the attitude of the leaders and participants of the rightwing monarchist movement to the creativity and religious and philosophical views of F. M. Dostoevsky. The journalistic articles, speeches, scientific works of the ideologists of Russian conservatism and monarchism of the early twentieth century, as well as the sermons of some prominent monarchist clergy are analyzed. It is concluded that the overwhelming majority of monarchists fully shared the writer’s views on soil and tried to develop his ideas about Russian Orthodoxy, about “worldwide responsiveness”, about patriotism. For many representatives of the monarchist movement, F. M. Dostoevsky remained the greatest exponent of the national self-consciousness of the Russian people, a worthy example to follow. The religious and philosophical ideas of F. M. Dostoevsky firmly entered the ideological basis of the right political worldview. A new independent doctrine that arose in the depths of Russian conservatism - nationalism, whose representatives put the interests of the Russian nation above the ideals of Orthodoxy and autocracy, introduced a new stream into the process of rethinking the work and views of F. M. Dostoevsky. Many of the nationalists considered the writer’s ideas about “worldwide responsiveness” and the historical mission of Russia to be utopian. In our opinion, such statements do not stand the test of time.
