Factors of provincial youth’s deviant behaviour (a socialogical research)

The results of sociological study of the degree of deviancy situation in the town of Yelabuga and Yelabuga Region of Tatarstan Republic are published for the first time. The following background for deviant behavior has been revealed: the low level of aesthetic development in one’s spare time, the low level of legal awareness, the low rating of confidence in the environment, the vague social expectations of the working young men and the students (secondary / high school students, technical college students, local teacher-training university, professional school students). The following types of deviations have been analyzed — drug addiction, drinking, smoking, violation of law and order.
