The factors of innovativeness of the personnel in a rapidly changing competitive environment

This article is devoted to the problems of innovation potential of personnel in a modern enterprise. The authors have proposed rendering of the term “innovativeness of personnel”. The authors render this term as “capability and possibility to generate and manage positive changes in a company through the right set of knowledge, skills and qualification of employees while using a motivation mechanism and creating favorable technical, technological, organizational and working conditions”. Moreover, the understanding of a company’s strategy, working within the frames of a single system of key indicators will let the experts of the enterprise involved in the innovation process to solve problems in a more constructive and responsible way. This article determines the factors which influence the development of the personnel’s innovativeness level in an organization. The components of the personnel’s innovativeness in an enterprise are stated in the authors’ classification and divided into 4 groups: professional (qualification), motivational, personal and factors of innovative environment (market). It is reasonable to use a rating system to study the dependence of production function Y (innovativeness) on variable factors (components of personnel’s innovativeness), many of which may have no numeric expression in the initial state. As the personnel’s innovativeness is non-homogeneous and a number of factors cannot be numerically expressed (for example, level of qualification, level of creativity, level of involvement, and etc.), the system of rating factors is given in the article. The present model allows analyzing changes of function parameters of a common aim set by the enterprise subject to the reaction to this of all factors forming personnel’s innovativeness.
