Personalization of the learning process using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies: the experience of educational platforms

Modern educational technologies are increasingly using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (MO) methods to personalize the learning process, providing higher engagement, motivation and the quality of learning. This article examines examples of practical implementation of AI solutions on major educational platforms such as Coursera, Duolingo, Khan Academy and Quizlet. The use of adaptive algorithms, generative models, recommendation systems, and natural language processing technologies is analyzed in order to improve learning efficiency and automate routine tasks. The paper highlights key areas of AI/MO application, describes the results achieved, such as increased user engagement, improved content quality, and reduced teacher workload. At the same time, the author points out the existing limitations: ethical risks, technical dependence on data quality, as well as difficulties in maintaining the depth of learning for advanced users. The article demonstrates the high prospects of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into education, emphasizing the need for further research to optimize pedagogical interaction and ensure responsible use of AI. The findings can be used to develop new approaches to personalized learning and improve digital educational ecosystems.
