Risk factors of the development of cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus type 2

The article presents a review of literature data on the study of risk factors on the scales SCORE, Framingham, PROCAM. The main problems of modern medicine are cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, in particular type 2 diabetes. Along with this, in recent years, much attention is also paid to the metabolic syndrome associated with abdominal obesity. As a result, many studies have revealed that risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes mellitus are such factors as hypertension, smoking, physical inactivity, dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, overweight and poor nutrition.
