The article examines what social, institutional, and organizational factors determine the sustainability and success of entrepreneurial communities in the Russian market. The authors propose an operationalization of the concepts of “sustainability factors” and “success factors” of entrepreneurial communities. The theoretical framework includes P. Bourdieu’s and J. Coleman’s social capital theory, M. Granovetter’s concept of the “strength of weak ties”, H. Etzkowitz’s “Triple Helix” model, and the neo-institutional approach. The paper presents current empirical data for 2024–2026 demonstrating the role of network interaction in ensuring the Russian business survival and its adaptability under the conditions of uncertainty. A comparative analysis is carried out between the strictly institutionalized continental European model of business associations and the emerging Russian model based on flexible club forms and voluntary self-organization. Key factors for the sustainability of entrepreneurial communities are identified and systematized including the level of trust, value consolidation, effective leadership, and digital transformation of communications. Drawing on the findings, practical recommendations are formulated for business associations, development institutions, and entrepreneurial communities.
