Falsification of the history of Russia in the context of threats to national security

The author notes the importance of combating the falsification of the history of Russia and preserving the memory of generations, especially with regard to the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Among the most significant and subject to protection of historical facts and events, the author names public holidays that have historical roots: the Day of Russia, the Day of National Unity, Days of military glory and memorable dates specified in the Federal Law of March 13, 1995 no. 32-FZ “On the days of military glory and memorable dates in Russia”. The author also considers the current state of the legal regulation of the fight against falsification of the history of Russia and proposes measures to improve the current legislation.
