Pharmacologic efficacy of using enzyme therapy in the correction of secondary syndrome of disturbed absorption in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Efficacy of using method of paharmacotherapy with polycomponent enzyme drugs aimed at correcting disturbed absorption secondary syndrome was studied in 40 patients having chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of middle and severe courses with the secondary syndrome of disturbed absorption. The study results showed that such polycomponent drugs as festal, pansinorm, ensistal, digestal given in middle therapeutic doses reliably increase digestion and absorption of fats, absorption of proteins, hydrocarbons in these patients. Method of enzyme therapy allows to effectively resolve the issue of nutritional maintaining of patients having chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with the secondary syndrome of disturbed absorption.
