The relevance of the paper lies in the fact that nowadays a global information war is being waged against Russia. The youth became a particular object, including children and adolescents, as the most susceptible and vulnerable categories of the population. Due to the lack of life experience and strong beliefs, they are not able to perceive and evaluate information correctly, resist harmful influences, especially moral, and even more so of a political and ideological content, without the help of adults. In this regard, the task of implementing the state youth policy, aimed at forming a state-patriotic consciousness, among the younger generation is of particular relevance. The great potential of military-patriotic education of youth is possessed by cultural institutions of federal military and «yunarmia», which can be called «youth Army», a youth military-patriotic movement. The paper presents the authors’ vision of the structure of cultural institutions of federal military and «youth army», which are designed to participate in the implementation of the state program of patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation.
