Federal device of Russia: general characteristics and constitutional principles

This article discusses the issues of building a federal structure, the history, stages and features of the development of the Russian Federation, the general characteristics and constitutional principles of Russian federalism. Various approaches of scientists to the characteristics, principles of federal relations in the Russian Federation are studied. The article examines the position on the ideal model of delimiting the competence of the Federation and its subjects, which is based on the principle of constitutionality.
