Soviet children's book graphics of the 1920s is one of the most striking precedents in the history of book illustration. At the same time, the «children's constructivism» seems to be a curious and specific term, despite its use and importance it is still not studied properly. This article aims to examine the phenomenon of children's constructivism and define its basic framework basic principles. The article shows the main names and works connected with the formation and development of «children's constructivism» and considers its parameters as a phenomenon of art book illustration.
