Phenomenon of defensive behavior disautomation in obsessive-phobic disorders

Obsessive disturbances, complicated by phenomenon of defensive behavior disautomation, occupy special position within the range of obsessive-phobic disorders. Psychopathologic qualification of defensive behavior disautomation allows maintaining that this phenomenon has a complex psychopathologic structure. Presence of this phenomenon in clinical picture of neurotic disorders and schizophrenia spectrum diseases is a clinical- psychopathologic sign testifying to general severity of obsessive symptoms. In obsessive disorders accompanied by this phenomenon, detached type of interpersonal response was observed that indicated latent symptoms-targets for psychotherapeutic work.
