Phenomenon and notion of future specialists’ graphic competence

In modern educational environment many types of graphic information are an innovational and widespread means. It causes the topicality of future teachers’ graphic competence development. The content analysis of the notions “graphic information” and “graphic competence” is given. The diversity of types of the notions “information” and “competence” is reviewed. The author’s definition of the notion “graphic competence” is given.
