The phenomenon of the linguistic personality of the character (based on the novel “One hand clapping” by Anthony Burgess)

The article deals with the concept of the author’s image keeping a valuable information and the literary character having the set of the unique characteristics. There are analyzed the speech behavior of the novel’s character, the role of the emotional concept and the ways of its expression pointing at the motives in the consciousness of the linguistic personality. There is considered the pragmaticon of the linguistic personality as a key aspect in the comprehension of the text.
