The phenomenon of professional motivation of cadets at military universities: structure and content

The article considers the phenomenon of professional motivation of cadets of military universities in the system of military education as one of the main conditions for successful adaptation in the military organization. The place of professional motivation on the whole trajectory of lifelong education is determined. The article reveals the value (protection of the Fatherland, prestige of military service, continuation of family tradition), material (free education, guaranteed employment, solution of housing issue) aspects of professional motivation of cadets of military universities. The question of change of structure of professional motivation in two planes consisting in transformation of the General motives of the person in professional, with the subsequent transition to system of professional motives is investigated. Dominant motives (personal self-realization, professional development, career, pragmatic) are presented as fundamental elements of the structure of professional motivation-a significant result of training cadets in a military University.
