A philologist exploring the treasures of Russian philosophical and theological thought (on the 80th anniversary of the birth of V. A. Fateyev)

This article is devoted to the creative work of our contemporary, Valery A. Fateyev, who has become a recognized specialist not only within the circle of historians of literature, but also among philosophers and theologians, as is testified by a select bibliography of his works supplemented to this article. Since the present author has already written about Fateyev’s monographs on Vasily Rozanov and Nikolay Strakhov, this research work focuses on Mikhail Prishvin’s unique book The Colour and the Cross , which was created thanks to the research efforts of Valery Fateyev.
