The study focuses on the philosophy of juvenile crime. Interpreting the causes of deviant behavior of the Russian younger generation from the standpoint of philosophy, the author considers it necessary to integrate such elements as an empirical personality, a school as a social institution, a language speaker into the problematic area of social philosophy. The research gradually addresses each component revealing the dual nature of a man, which fully justifies the dual nature of deviation. A positive deviation is associated with a refusal to follow the nature and act by reflex (instinct) and the development of social subjectness (a capacity of being an agent) based on the experience of reflection. On the contrary, a negative deviation is a refusal to actualize (second) human nature that leads to the total loss of personality.
