Philosophical culture in the context of Chinese scholars’ research

In recent years, philosophy of culture has been actively researched. The article is aimed at examining this phenomenon from the point of view of its interpretation by Chinese thinkers. It is emphasized that philosophy of emerged as an independent branch of science at the end of the XX century. Thus, scientists interpret it as a reflection of thought, reflection on the man of culture. It is stressed the thesis that in the studies of philosophical problems of culture, philosophical worldview undertaken in China, the concept of “philosophical culture” is not used, but the content of the works of Chinese scholars allows concluding about the semantic functioning of this phenomenon in the philosophical discourse of the Celestial Empire. According to Chinese scholarship, philosophy of culture directs the thinking process to the world of culture and human creative activity, which indicates the formation of a new paradigm for the study of culture in China. The main positions of Chinese thinkers on this issue are considered and summarized. It is reported that the philosophy of culture, from their point of view, is oriented to the study of man’s worldview, the course of his creative thought and is realized through reflection. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that philosophical culture is revealed through philosophy of culture.
