Philosophical foundations of the creative work of A.Tarkovsky: "Resurrection through recollection" as a fundamental idea of drama "Solaris" (1972)

The article examines fundamental philosophical Andrei Tarkovsky's ideas in picture «Solaris». The article focuses on spiritual way of the main character Kris Kelvin and the symbolism of black and white shots. Also the article analyzes the meanings of the concept of self-sacrifice and spiritual responsibility in Andrei Tarkovsky's conception. As a final result of study, the author makes a conclusion that everyone should feel their relation with Genesis.
