Philosophical analysis of the concepts of “work of art” and “creativity” in the context of a musical composition

The article analyzes the concepts of “work of art”, “musical composition”, “creativity” in the structure of conceptual interaction within the framework of philosophy and musicology, the methodological basis is the historical method. The activity foundations of creative processes are translated into a system of experience, taking into account the individual characteristics of each of the subjects of experimental knowledge: the author, the performer and the listener. The conceptual basis of the study in the context of philosophical research is German classical philosophy and its reflection in philosophical, philological and musicological concepts. Musicology in the article is used as a theoretical form of practical expression of the historical method in relation to the music phenomena. Two basic approaches to the key foundations of the ongoing research are identified: to the topic of performance and to the topic of interpretation of a work of art, which, in methodological terms, made it possible to create a basis for applying a comparative approach. The question of authentic performance is consecrated through the prism of a musical composition in the context of musicology and musical practice. The concepts of “viewer”, “observer” are defined through the essential approach in the structure “author - performer - listener” with a shifted basis, defined through conceptual structures within analytical and synthetic constructions, as well as axiology.
