A philosophical analysis of the Russian youth life strategies

The research presents a philosophical analysis of classifications of life strategies determining the priorities of the Russian youth in the period until 2010. The author investigates the relevant literature and scientific works grouped according to the typological characteristics considered in them. The choice of a certain type of youth life strategy is explained by a number of factors. Therefore, the analysis of classification is directly related to the decisions of individuals and their actions. Youth problems have always been of great interest to scientists because young people, undergoing the self-determination, represent a special group in the structure of society. The research findings allow one to deepen the theoretical knowledge about the ways of classifying modern Russian youth life strategies and the prerequisites for their development. They indicate the possible measures to improve career guidance techniques and can be recommended for universities and youth committees.
