Philosophical and pedagogical understanding universal competence ‘critical thinking’ graduates of the agrarian university

Critical thinking, which should be a form of consciousness of a graduate of the Agrarian University, requires certain criteria that have not yet been developed in the public consciousness. The article analyzes two opposing approaches to this problem: positivist and dialectical. The role of philosophical disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the field of preparation of agroengineering in the formation of critical thinking criteria is shown. Particular attention is paid to the principle of falsification of Popper and his criticism from the standpoint of Hegel’s dialectical logic. The material of the article is adapted to the educational process of the direction of Agroengineering: the fact that discipline of Logic, as a rule, is not included in education plan of this direction.
