Philosophical reflection on the contradictions in globalization processes

Globalization is a topical issue of philosophical and private scientific research. The scale and incomplete and diverse nature of the processes related to this phenomenon requires the use of philosophical methodological and terminological apparatus for its comprehension, as well as keeping all possible conceptual approaches, often contradicting each other, in focus of attention. The article actualizes the main research contradictions in the issues of the origin and nature of globalization. It is emphasized that scientists pay considerably less attention to cultural globalization than similar trends in economics and politics. As an example of the lack of clarity and predictability of cultural globalization, the authors consider historically unprecedented phenomenon of the Western “cancel culture” of everything Russian that we observe today. Samples of Russian art and literature that have been acclaimed throughout the world have been devalued overnight. All this makes it possible to talk about the complexity of understanding the integration and disintegration processes of globalization.
