Financial costs in seeking judicial protection

The article is devoted to the problem of incurring financial costs by a person who applies for state-guaranteed judicial protection of his/her violated civil right. These costs in terms of expenses for payment of the representative's services are not always fully reimbursed upon satisfaction of the applicant's demands, which leads to the need to create a mechanism for determining their validity. The author proposes to create a calculator that, when choosing a region, a category of dispute and a list of necessary actions, will indicate the average market value of the cost of the representative's services in the paid services market. The author believes that placing this calculator on the official website of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and securing the court's right to use the proposed calculator in the procedural legislation will allow justifying the cost of legal services and avoiding both overstatement of its size by unscrupulous companies and unjustified understatement by the court.
