Financial mechanism for supporting monoprofile municipal educations

The socio-economic development of Russia is taking place in a new proportionality, a new coordinate - spatial, which requires an integrated approach to the use of space, the implementation of the specifics of various territorial structures and the provision of regional development opportunities at the expense of own financial resources. However, not all territories can develop steadily without financial support from the state due to their narrow specialization, and, consequently, vulnerability due to their dependence on a single city-forming organization. The program «Integrated development of single-industry towns», designed for the period 2016-2025, including a financial mechanism to support single-industry towns, was recognized as ineffective and was terminated ahead of schedule.
