The article examines the peculiarity of the influence of stretching on the functional state of a person. A comparative characteristic of various types of stretching is carried out, which have different effects on muscle groups and the body system as a whole. It is noted that physical activity helps to achieve flexibility, freedom of movement, minimizes the risk of injury to muscles during training and guarantees progressive correction of posture. In addition, recommendations are provided on the choice of exercises that will not harm the body during prolonged sessions. The positive effect of stretching can be noted after 2-3 weeks of training.
