Law enforcement officers’ physical training based on complexes of high-intensity exercises

Introduction. The purpose is to create complexes of high-intensity exercises aimed at the development of speed and strength qualities and anaerobic capabilities of the organism. Materials and Methods. The results of observation on the subject under study were analyzed. External and internal circumstances and peculiarities of high-intensity exercises were considered. The author employs such general scientific methods as analysis and generalization of literature on physical culture and sports, modeling of complexes of high-intensity exercises, testing of physical fitness level, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Results and Discussion. Complexes of high-intensity exercises are the means and method of development of speed and strength qualities and anaerobic capabilities of the organism. The results of the pedagogical experiment show that the subjects of the experimental group in comparison with the subjects of the control group have the indicators of development of the studied physical qualities were reliably higher on average by 8.8%. Conclusions. Formed complexes of high-intensity exercises improve professionally important physical qualities of law enforcement officers, namely speed and strength qualities and anaerobic capabilities of the body, which most fully reflect the officers' readiness to perform their official duties while pursuing offenders, using physical force and combat techniques.
