The physical image “I” as the element of corporal conciousness of students

The analysis of works dedicated to the study of physical image “I” has been done, problems on the formation of corporal consciousness have been specified. The content of basic concepts used in the context of corporal-oriented approaches was clarified; the genesis of somatic consciousness formation was studied. The parameters, functions of experiencing a body image by students were clarified. The correlation between the contentment of a physical image “I” and the health-creative students’ behavior was revealed.
