Physiological aspects of adaptation of athletes to stress situations and physical workloads

Stress management is necessary for athletes to avoid anxiety during sports competitions, as this condition can negatively affect other psychological characteristics of athletes, reducing their self-confidence and worsening the ability to concentrate. In this regard, this article analyzes the physiological aspects of athletes' adaptation to stressful situations and physical exertion. As a result, effective approaches to reducing stress during athletes' preparation for competitions were identified.
