Грелин - пептидный гормон, обладающий широким спектром эффектов в организме человека. Он принимает участие в регуляции энергетического и жирового обмена, ростовых процессов, полового созревания, половых циклов, беременности, в контроле поведенческих реакций, а также обладает выраженными иммуномодулирующими и противовоспалительными свойствами. В обзоре представлены данные о структуре грелина и его рецепторов, уровне гормона при физиологических и патологических состояниях, а также его основные биологические эффекты.
