Physiological features of the antioxidant system of different breeds cats in connection with the cryoresistance of sperm

The article studies the physiological features of the antioxidant system of cat’s sperm of different breeds in connection with the cryoresistance of their ejaculates. The study was carried out from 2017 to 2022 at the Center for Veterinary Innovative Medicine of the RUDN (Moscow), at the veterinary clinic of LLC "Biocontrol" (Moscow), at the veterinary clinic at the K.A. Timiryazev Russian State Agricultural Academy (Moscow). 145 mature cats aged 2 to 8 years, which belonged to 8 different breeds, were used in the work. The best physiological activity of the antioxidant system was established by us in Bengali cats. Against this background, they had the best cryoresistance of sperm.
