Physiological, psychological and social characteristics of elderly people as factors of victimization

The scientific interest in the victim of a crime is not accidental, since the commission of a socially dangerous act indirectly depends on the victim's behavior. It is known that the victim's behavior can be not only immoral, illegal, but also reckless, frivolous, therefore, there is a high probability that elderly people will become victims of a crime. The main purpose of the study is to analyze the factors of victimization of elderly people, taking into account their physiological, psychological and social characteristics. Victimological crime prevention in relation to elderly people is one of the areas of general and special crime prevention. The commission of crimes against this category of persons is primarily explained by the physiological, psychological and social characteristics characteristic of this particular age. In the course of writing the work, general scientific and private scientific research methods were used.
