Formation of students’ value orientations in educational and extracurricular activities within the “Art” subject area

The article focuses on the consideration of various aspects of students’ value orientations formation at lessons and in extracurricular activities within the “Art” subject area. The problem seems to be relevant, since the value and meaning content of learning activities, and the general “value mood” of all subjects of education have a signifi cant impact on the eff ectiveness and effi ciency of the educational process. Value orientations are an important element of moral education, determining not only the success of socialization and self-realization of an individual, but also the spiritual and moral climate of society as a whole. Th e purpose of the study is to analyze various aspects that are key in the formation of value orientations of students in lessons and extracurricular activities within the “Art” subject area.
