Formation of value bases of professional identities of students of the faculty of physical education

One of the most important factors in the formation of professional identity is its value foundations. The pedagogical conditions contributing to the formation of the value self-awareness of physical education teachers are defined: the inclusion of additional courses in axiology in the program, the introduction of axiological strategies in the training process and their application in practice. The fundamental priorities of students are highlighted: business, communication, individualism, self-affirmation, acceptance of other people; and their impact on personality formation and competence development is described in detail. As a result, we have analyzed the formation of the value foundations of professional identity among students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and proposed options for applying the axiological approach in practice.
