Formation of digital competencies in future teachers as part of their methodical training

Modern schoolchildren live in a world of digital technologies, quickly orient themselves in it and actively master new opportunities. Therefore, the training of future teachers should pay attention to the formation of relevant competencies, the development of skills to work in a digital educational environment. The aim of the study - to determine the effectiveness of the author's module “Designing digital educational resources”, implemented in the discipline “Methods of teaching mathematics”. The module introduces students to the databases of ready-made digital resources both in subject training and extracurricular activities, helps to choose the highest quality of them according to the developed criteria, supplement and revise ready-made digital learning resources (DER), and most importantly - to design and create their own. Students of the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences were involved in the process of testing the module in 2020-2022. The conclusion is that it allows effectively form the digital competencies of future teachers, current requirements for which are reflected in the draft occupational standard “Teacher”.
