Formation of digital skills as components of a teacher’s digital culture

In modern conditions, the professional digital culture of a teacher becomes an important component in the process of digitalization of education. The conditions for legal regulation of ensuring the protection of the rights of both students and teaching staff are being created. There are requirements for proficiency in advanced pedagogical methods, including digital technologies. Continuous pedagogical education of a teacher and an increase in the level of professional competencies in the field of digitalization becomes necessary.Dynamic model, professional and digital culture, digital skills, formal and informational professional development, digital educational environment, information resources, activity component of digital culture, reflexive and evaluative component, ICT competence, continuing pedagogical education.The article focuses on the problem of the formation of digital skills as a component of professional digital culture. The analysis of the requirements for the teacher from the sphere of work is carried out, the characteristics of the components of the dynamic model of the professional digital culture of the teacher based on regulatory sources are compiled.Within the framework of this task, level indicators and criteria are defined at the basic, basic, advanced levels of digital skills formation. Indicators have been developed (the type of activity of a teacher in working with digital resources): working with information resources, managing the educational process, creating a digital educational environment, self-management of a teacher’s professional development. The levels of formation of digital skills of teachers and graduate students in the process of the methodology, which is a case study aimed at identifying the skills and abilities to work with information resources, manage educational activities, improve the digital educational environment, manage their professional development, are determined.According to the results of the study, organizational and pedagogical conditions were determined: training was organized to improve the digital skills of teachers and graduate students in the process of organizing formal and informal professional development; an educational program of additional education was created, including a cycle of internships on the formation of digital culture components on the basis of college workshops equipped with modern equipment.
