Development of a teacher’s deontological culture in the system of continuing teacher education

The purpose of this study is to find the effective solutions to problems of developing the teacher’s deontological culture in the system of continuing professional education. The author defines the deontological culture as a result of professional teacher training reflected in a holistic view on professional ethics and professional behaviour, the axiological, deontological, personal and creative competence, a desire for professional self-improvement, conscious behaviour management skills, the capacity for self-reflection of professional conduct. The study shows that the elaborated model, technology and program for developing the deontological culture in future teachers studying at secondary and higher teacher’s training institutions encourages them to be responsible for their activities and their future students and solve professional tasks based on the principles of teaching ethics.
