Formation and development of pedagogical skills of the higher school teacher in the system of continuing professional education

The article highlights the current trends in the development of Russian continuing professional education system, the most significant tasks of improving the quality of the higher school teachers’ pedagogical qualification under current conditions. Nowadays education is not only a condition of spiritual and professional development, but also a crucial factor for socio-economic transformation. Education lasts throughout a person's life and does not end at some particular stage. The system of the higher school teachers pedagogical education is complex of different institutions providing professional and pedagogical training according to the society’s and personal requirements. The continuity of pedagogical education of the higher school teachers creates the opportunity to develop creativity, that is the condition of individual teaching experience improvement, as the creative approach to the all spheres of activity (scientific, educational, social) is required nowadays.
