Formation of ethno-cultural competencies among students of choreographers in universities of Kazakhstan

The formation of professional competencies of future choreography specialists is considered in the context of the priority of national traditions and ethno cultural content in the training programs of Kazakh folk dances. The problem of the formation of ethno cultural competence of students is investigated by the author in connection with the results of the activities of universities of Kazakhstan as the leading platforms for the study, preservation and development of ethno cultural choreographic knowledge and as a new scientifi c direction of the development of national dance culture, capable of solving the tasks of professional training of specialists with relevant competencies.
