Formation of key competencies of schoolchildren using information and communication technologies in biology lessons

The article discusses information and communication technologies as a means of forming the key competencies of schoolchildren in a biology lesson. At the stage of the ascertaining pedagogical experiment, diagnostics of the level of formation of key competencies of students was carried out. As part of the formative stage, a multimedia lesson was held in the experimental classroom using multimedia presentations, electronic textbooks, Internet resources, at the same time, as part of extracurricular activities, students received tasks during which they had to access Internet resources. Because of the technology used, students' motivation for the subject under study increased, which affected the results of the control stage of the experiment.
