The article deals with issues related to the formation of competitive advantages of hotels in Kazakhstan. The basic tendencies of development of hotel business in the country were defined. The ways of increasing the competitiveness of hotels were revealed. Particular attention is paid to the fact that competitive advantages of the hotels vary depending on the hotel type and the values of target audience.
