The paper examines the practical experience of using digital tools, in particular neural networks, in combination with traditional pedagogical methods to develop creative initiative and creative thinking in children and adolescents. Based on the analysis of real projects – the creation of brochures, radio broadcasts, vertical video and newspapers – a model of step-by-step organization of media projects is proposed, aimed at developing students' skills in critical information comprehension, independent content-making and teamwork. The material is addressed to media educators, heads of creative studios and all specialists involved in the development of creativity in the educational process.
