The formation of mathematical competency of students with account of the national-regional features of the Republic of Tuva

The article discusses the implementation of the competency-based approach to teaching Mathematics to students with account of the nationalregional features of the Republic of Tuva in relation to agricultural majors. The national-regional aspect is able to have a big influence on the formation of mathematical competency of students, on condition that the problem of bilingualism in education and the national-historic traditions in the local agriculture are fully taken into account in the process of implementation of the applied and professional orientation of teaching Mathematics. The article also deals with the issue of development of applied and professionally oriented mathematical tasks with account of the national-regional aspect.
