Formation of meta-subject competencies of pedagogical university students

Modern society places high demands on graduates of a pedagogical university, who must think critically independently, generate new ideas, be sociable, contact with all participants in the educational process, be able to work together, prevent conflict situations, constantly develop their intelligence, moral qualities, improve professional and cultural level, be competent and a competitive specialist. In this regard, the educational process at the university is increasingly focused on the formation of not only professional and pedagogical, but also meta-subject, universal competencies. At the same time, the emphasis is on the use of active forms and innovative pedagogical technologies for teaching students, interaction and cooperation of teachers and students, as well as students themselves with each other. The article substantiates the need to use case technology as one of the ways to form students’ meta-subject competencies, which significantly improve the quality of training of future specialists.
