Formation of intercultural competence of future journalists at the Chinese language classes

The author views the issues of training future journalists in the process of teaching the Chinese language. The topic is relevant due to the contast search for methods and teaching aids that contribute to the formation and development of intercultural competence of students. The views of modern psychologists and teachers on the concept of "intercultural competence" are analyzed. The author presents some examples of compiled tasks in the form of communicative situations which are used in the Chinese language classes at the 1-3 years at M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University with the specifics of training future specialists in the media sphere. These situations allow students to simulate real-life situations and apply knowledge about the culture, history and people's lives, increase confidence in their performances and their ability to work in a team.
